We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Server Engineer to oversee our server infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective deployment, maintenance, and support of our organization's server environment. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of Windows, Linux, Avaya, VMware, and Hyper-V technologies, and will have previous experience in working with a server team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
•      Responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and support of our organization's server infrastructure.
•      Ensure the effective planning, deployment, and maintenance of Windows, Linux, Avaya, VMware, and Hyper-V servers.
•      Develop and maintain server policies, procedures, and documentation.
•      Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the effective integration of server infrastructure with other technologies.
•      Ensure the security and integrity of the organization's server infrastructure by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures.
•      Monitor and report on server performance and capacity, and identify and address any issues proactively.
•      Manage server backups and disaster recovery procedures.
•      Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams as required.
•      Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the server industry, and provide recommendations on how they can be used to improve the organization's server infrastructure.
 
Requirements:
•      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
·       5+ years of experience in server management, with expertise in Windows, Linux, Avaya, VMware, and Hyper-V technologies
·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·       Knowledge of server security and compliance standards
·       Experience in backup and disaster recovery planning and implementation
·       Certifications in relevant technologies such as MCSE, RHCE, VCP are a plus
